Sher Mohammad Abbas Stankzai, political deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs criticized the closure of girls’ schools and said that it is the responsibility of the Taliban to provide education for girls and boys.
The political deputy of the Taliban’s foreign ministry said on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the Afghan Invest investment company at the Kabul Intercontinental Hotel on Sunday, 29th of June, that any system that does not have the cooperation of the people will soon be destroyed. He further stated that it is the Taliban’s responsibility to provide a favorable learning environment for boys and girls. The political deputy of the Taliban’s foreign ministry states that learning science is a religious obligation and is obligatory on Muslim men and women. He also said that they will not allow anyone to use Afghanistan’s soil against other countries. Before this, Stanekzai said that you cannot rule over the people with a stick, the Taliban must find a place in the hearts of the people and rule. It should be mentioned that Afghanistan’s girls’ schools from the sixth to the twelfth grade have been closed even after the Taliban came to power again, which has caused many domestic and foreign reactions.
