A number of Indian media reports that the Ministry of Interior of that country has given electronic visas to more than 100 Hindus and Sikhs in Afghanistan following the attack on 28 mosques in Kabul yesterday.
After the armed and explosive attack on the Sikh place of worship in Kabul on Saturday, the concern about the greater vulnerability of this religious minority in Afghanistan has increased. After this incident, the Ministry of Interior has announced that it will facilitate the process of transferring and evacuating 100 Hindus from Afghanistan and will issue electronic visas to them. Yesterday’s attack was met with many reactions in the world and many Afghan countries and politicians including Hamed Karzai, the former president of Hamhour and Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, the former chairman of the Supreme Reconciliation Council of the country, condemned this attack. The Taliban, while condemning this attack, said that a Sikh citizen and a Taliban security force were killed and seven others were injured in yesterday’s attack. The responsibility of the incident has been accepted by the Khorasan province branch of the ISIS group.
