On Sunday, June 19, Kazakhstan President Kassem Jomart Tokayev traveled to Tehran at the head of a high-ranking delegation and held talks with Iranian officials.
Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi said in this meeting that the two countries share views on regional issues, including the necessity of forming an inclusive government in Afghanistan. The Iranian president added that the presence of foreigners in the region does not create security and will cause many problems. The President of Kazakhstan has also said that Kazakhstan and Iran have good relations in all fields, and these relations can be seen in international and regional fields. It is worth mentioning that during this trip, nine 20-year cooperation documents were signed by the ministers of the two countries in the fields of development of transit transportation, energy, agriculture, trade exchanges and other fields.
