Britain says it will not support anyone seeking to bring about political change in Afghanistan through violence.
Hugo Chartres, the chargé d’affaires of the British Embassy in Doha, said that violence and deadly attacks are not in the interest of Afghanistan, nor in the interest of the international community. He has said that his country does not support violence for the purpose of political exploitation in Afghanistan, nor does it allow anyone to prepare for such actions inside the British soil. The British Embassy’s Chargé d’affaires for Afghanistan said in a statement released by the British Foreign Office that it condemns any terrorist attack and considers it regrettable. This British official added that for the peace and stability of Afghanistan, it is necessary to continue humanitarian aid to Afghans and to respond to security concerns. This reaction takes place one day after a deadly incident occurred at the Afghan Sikh place of worship in Karte Parwan area of Kabul city.
