Holding a book fair in Kabul

On the occasion of the book week in the country, a number of women organized a street book fair to promote reading in Kabul.

The organizers of this exhibition say that they want to encourage people to read books by launching such programs. Khatire Hesar, one of the organizers of this exhibition, said: “We wanted to have a book fair street program on the occasion of the Book Week and also on the occasion of the fact that our goal is to promote the reading culture”. Azita Najand, another official of this program, said: This day coincides with the last day of the book week and we wanted to appreciate and celebrate the first book week. Hasna Sarvari said: My message to families is to encourage their children to read books from their childhood until they become young. At the same time, a number of visitors praise the holding of such programs in the country and ask the youth to turn to the culture of reading books. Nisar Ahmed, a visitor and resident of Kabul, said: Nations who read books are not condemned to repeat history, they create new and new things and deliver them to the world. Ghiyathuddin, a resident of Kabul, said: A prosperous, free and progressive Afghanistan needs young people who read books. Meanwhile, some cultural experts say that the government should provide more education in the country. Mohammad Yasin Ehsan, an expert on cultural issues, said: “It is expected that the government will provide the ground in education, schools, book schools and book reading.” Using books as a tool for peace, acquiring science and knowledge, translating cultures and respecting the rights of authors and creators.
