34 news; US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken says that they are trying to bring to justice those who carried out a suicide attack in Kabul airport last year.
The US State Department announced today, Saturday, 27 August, that they are seeking to bring to justice those who killed 13 American soldiers and 170 Afghans in a suicide attack on August 26 last year.
Secretary Blinken said that they will not stop prosecuting the perpetrators of the Kabul Airport incident. He added, “We will never stop pursuing those who carried out this attack. We are working closely with our partners to find and arrest them”.
Mr. Blinken said that the US is trying to prevent Afghanistan from becoming a haven for international terrorists through principled diplomacy and other measures.
It is worth mentioning that last year, during the evacuation of foreign forces in Afghanistan, a suicide attack occurred among those who were trying to leave Afghanistan, as a result of which 13 American soldiers and 170 other Afghans were killed.
