34 news; The United Nations Security Council condemned the suicide attack on worshipers in Herat two days ago and said that terrorist acts are unjustified regardless of the motive.
The members of this council emphasised the need to fight against the perpetrators, organisers, financiers, and supporters of these terrorist acts and to try them, and asked all countries to actively cooperate in this field by their obligations under international laws and resolutions of the Security Council.
The UN Security Council statement demonstrated that attacks against civilians have increased across Afghanistan, including against religious minorities.
According to this council, 250 people, including children, were killed and wounded in Afghanistan in August of this year alone.
According to the officials in the attack two days ago in Herat, at least 18 people were killed and more than 23 others were injured.
