The problems of journalists will be solved through the Media Violation Committee

34 news; Mullah Khairullah Khairkhah, Acting Minister of Information and Culture, says that some violence has occurred against journalists. He emphasises that no journalist has been killed in the past year.

Speaking to reporters today, Tuesday, 6 September, during the annual reporting program of the Ministry of Information and Culture in Kabul, he said: “Some cases have happened between the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate and journalists on the roads, but the important thing is that in the past year Not a single journalist has been killed, which is an important achievement.

He also said that the Media Violation Commission has been established and this commission will officially start its work next week.

According to him, from now on, the problems of the media and journalists will be solved through this committee.

Khair Khah also talked about financial problems and media finance and said that they have discussed with the Ministry of Finance to carry out evaluations in the area of ​​media tax reduction.

These efforts are in continuation of promises made earlier by the Ministry of Culture and Information, in a face-to-face conversation with media organisations and journalists. The ministry will have more cooperation in the field of access to information and discounts on media taxes.
