The food poisoning in a party in Balkh killed five people and hospitalised 15 others

34 news; Sources have told the media that 20 young people from Faryab Province who were invited to a party in a house in the fourth district of Mazar-e-Sharif on Saturday, September 17, were poisoned by eating food, and five of them died.

Quoted from 8Subh Sources say that five of the guests died after eating food contaminated with poison, and 15 of them were taken to Balkh hospital in a coma.

When the guests ate the food prepared by the host, everyone suffers from diarrhoea, nausea, and stomach aches, sources add.

It has been said that the doctors of the Balkh provincial hospital described the health condition of 15 of the poisoned people as critical.

It should be mentioned that the bodies of five deceased were transferred to Faryab province last night.

The local officials of the Taliban in Mazar-e-Sharif have confirmed this news and said that the reason and motivation for pouring poison into the food of these youths are not known and they have not arrested anyone in this connection.
