The first meeting of the Media Violation Committee was held

34 news; Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson of the Taliban, announced in a series of tweets today, Tuesday, holding the first meeting of the Media Violation Committee chaired by Mullah Khairullah Khairkhah, Acting Minister of Information and Culture.

He wrote that to prevent violence against the media, the Committee for the Prevention of Violations was activated and held its first meeting today.

He has noted that the influential figures of the media and related government institutions are members of this committee.

According to him, the committee will hold weekly meetings to examine media challenges and find appropriate solutions.

In the past few months, several organizations supporting journalists and the media demanded the activation of the Media Violation Committee to prevent the arrest of journalists and violence against the media.
