Taliban to hold a grand assembly in Kandahar

34 News; Some sources close to the Taliban have said that tomorrow, Thursday, a big gathering like the Kabul assembly will be held in Kandahar.

Hafiz Noorahmad Saeed, the head of the information and culture ministry in Kandahar, told the media that the meeting will be for one day and about two thousand people will participate in it.

He says that the participants of this assembly will be high-ranking officials, former government officials, religious scholars, and citizens.

Although the agenda is not clear yet, Hafiz Saeed stated that the purpose of this meeting is to examine the current situation in Afghanistan and general and national issues.

Meanwhile, Mawlavi Habibullah Agha, the head of the Kandahar Ulema Council, announced to the media that the assembly will be held with the participation of religious scholars, ethnic elders, and civil society activists, and some officials of the previous government in Kandahar
