Bakhtar state news agency quoted Maulvi Lal Mohammad Mohammadi, the district governor of Deh Salah saying that as a result of the release of methane gas in one of the coal mines in the Alogag mine, three workers were gassed and died.

The reason for this incident is considered to be the non-technical way of mining.
