34 news; The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, in a newsletter, rejected the concerns and statements of some countries, including Pakistan and the United States, about the threats and presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan and says that there is no armed group in Afghanistan.
In the newsletter of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which was published today, Saturday, September 24, it is stated: “These concerns are based on false information, and Islamic Emirate once again assures that Afghanistan’s soil will not be used against any country.”
In the newsletter, it is also emphasised that the seat of Afghanistan’s representative in the United Nations should be handed over to the current government of Afghanistan so that the countries of the region and the world are aware of the realities in Afghanistan.
The news bulletin added: “Instead of worries and unnecessary accusations, the world should take the path of interaction and share their views and concerns with us face to face instead of media and announcements.”
This is in response to some countries, including Pakistan, expressing concern about the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan in the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Shahbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, said that Afghanistan has become the center of terrorists after the Taliban regained control, and Al-Qaeda, ISIS, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, East Turkestan Islamic Movement, and the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan are active in this country.
