A new warning from the Meteorological Department about the continued rain and floods in many provinces of the country

34 news; The Meteorological Department has predicted that today, Sunday/August 21, there is a possibility of heavy rains in the provinces of Zabul, Uruzgan, some parts of Paktika, Wardak, Ghazni, Khost, Paktia, some parts of Logar, Nuristan, and Kunar.

The department says that in the provinces of Nangarhar, Parwan, Badakhshan, Panjshir, Kapisa, Kabul, southwest of Takhar, south of Bamyan, east of Daikundi, north, and east of Kandahar and Laghman, there will be scattered rains and possible thunder and lightning in some places.

The Meteorological Department has also warned that the rains will intensify in the east, northeast, center, southeast, and some parts of the south of the country in the coming days, which will probably lead to floods.

They also warned of the possibility of strong winds compared to the previous days in Herat, Farah, and Nimroz provinces.

In the past few days, especially yesterday, the rain and the resulting floods have caused a lot of damage and casualties to people in some provinces, including Logar, and in addition, several people have lost their lives, hundreds of acres of agricultural land and ten residential houses have also been destroyed.
